The Erb Group is a family-owned business founded by Vernon Erb which evolved from a one-man company in 1959, to a reputable trucking company with over 1,500 employees and owner-operators.
With a network of 10 terminals, we are a reliable and efficient partner for businesses in Canada and the United States looking for temperature-controlled shipping of their time-sensitive goods. We are dedicated to excellence and continuously invest in the best technology, equipment, and people to ensure we remain a leader in the refrigerated transport industry.

Under Wendell’s guidance, The Erb Group has developed modern best practices and brought a fresh perspective to the goal of “profitability through superior service”. The company has grown from one truck to one of the largest family-owned refrigerated trucking companies in North America, with a distribution network of ten terminals, over 1,500 employees, and a fleet of more than 800 power units.
Wendell is also Chairman of the Board of The Erb Group and has won various awards for the company’s HR, safety, and inclusivity practices. He continues to help guide the company to be industry-leading and push the industry to continue to improve and evolve.
