Fuel Surcharge is an additional fee added to your base shipping rate to account for fluctuating fuel prices.
Our fuel surcharge is determined by the weighted cost of our fuel purchased in the preceding week.
Enter your contact information in the form for email updates on weekly fuel rates.
Note: Shipments rated less than or equal to 9,999 pounds and 5 pallet spots & less, will have the LTL FSC rate applied.
Shipments rated on a billing weight of 10,000 pounds and greater, or that are 6 pallet spots or greater, will have the
Truckload FSC rate applied.
6. Do you de-stuff containers?
Yes, we do provide container de-stuffing. Our refrigerated docks and cold storage facilities allow us to provide
container de-stuffing while still protecting the structural integrity of our clients’ perishable goods. Container
de-stuffing offers a service of unloading goods out of containers, organizing, and preparing the shipment to be
delivered to its required destination. Please contact

7. How do you calculate cube for Less-Than-Truckload shipments?
Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments are calculated on a cube model. The cubing model is determined by the cubic volume
in a trailer or the space your shipment occupies. The cubic measurement of your load will impact the cost of your
freight when shipping LTL. Learn to calculate the dimensions of your shipment in cubes below.
Cubing and Dimensions
Minimum density will be based on 12 pounds per cubic foot. To calculate the dimensional weight, you multiply the length
(in inches), width (inches) and height (inches) of your shipment, then divide that result by 1728 and multiply by 12.
For specific shipments
- Individual pallets 72 inches or taller, irregularly shaped, or unstackable pallets will use the trailers'
total height of 90 inches.
- Individual pallets 48 inches or wider will use the trailers' total width of 96 inches.
8. How do I calculate per 100 LBS rates for LTL shipments?
Per-hundred-pound rates are used to calculate Less-Than-Truckload shipments.
To determine the per 100 lbs. rate, you multiply the price for the specific traffic lane by the weight of the shipment
and then divide the result by 100. This calculation provides the total freight rate before factoring in fuel and tax.
Total Freight Weight = (Price for Traffic Lane x Weight) / 100
9. Where should I go when I have a question about my order on the day of my delivery?
