LET’S TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO SHOW APPRECIATION FOR THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY

Hard times can create great teaching moments for children. Take this time to teach your children the importance of the transportation industry and how food gets to their plate. As COVID-19 continues to spread and schools and daycares remain closed, many parents are finding themselves in isolation at home with their kids. Whether you are a stay-at-home parent or you’re living the work-from-home life right now, you are constantly looking for ways to keep the kids learning and engaged. More and more we are recognizing the importance of the transportation industry and our essential workers.

In the media, we continue to hear of more messaging from the public thanking truck drivers and their support teams who are keeping Canada moving. This past week, Google has dedicated their homepage to honour front line workers, including those moving goods during the pandemic.  Trucking companies are working tirelessly day and night to ensure our grocery shelves are stocked, and our hospitals have the medical supplies they need to save lives.

Let’s give our kids a way to show appreciation to the trucking industry at this time. Let’s flood our Facebook page with pictures of thanks to ensure truck drivers and their teams know they are truly appreciated during this crisis.

We need you and your kids to make drawings or crafts to show their gratitude to the many amazing men and women who are out on the road making much needed deliveries. Email a picture of your child holding up their drawing or just of their creation to marketing@erbgroup.com or send us a PM on Facebook and we will post them throughout the month!

These are extraordinary times and we at Erb Transport are truly proud of our extraordinary team. We know of the dedication and hard work our employees are performing every single day. Although our network of terminals are spread across the country and are comprised of many moving parts, we are unified through our goals and celebrate our successes together. We bring food to your family’s table.
