EN Une décennie d’excellence : Le Groupe Erb nommé Top Fleet Employer et lauréat du prestigieux prix HR Leader Of The Year
Toronto, ON, 12 octobre 2023 – During the 10th annual Top Fleet Employer's Gala in Toronto, The Erb Group, a recognized leader in the trucking industry, was presented with the distinguished recognition of being a Top Fleet Employer for the 10th consecutive year by Trucking HR Canada. In addition to this significant accomplishment, Trucking HR Canada acknowledged The Erb Group's former Vice President of People and Culture, Dave Dietrich, as 2023's Trucking HR Leader of the Year. Chaque année, cette organisation présente ce prix à une personne qui est devenue un modèle pour d’autres professionnels des RH dans le secteur du camionnage. As a Human Resources leader, Dave was employed with The Erb Group for 30 years and retired in June of 2023; however, his legacy continues to leave a lasting impact on the daily operations of our human resources department and projects while always maintaining a people-first focus. Unknowing that he would be receiving the HR Leader of the Year recognition, Dave stepped up to the podium to receive his award and, without thinking twice, shared his deep gratitude for his team's support, acknowledging that their efforts helped him make a significant impact over the course of his career. "A leader is nowhere without his team," said Dave Dietrich during his acceptance speech. In addition, he thanked our CEO, Wendell Erb, and his family for giving him the opportunity to foster and evolve their Human Resource department in its developmental stages. En 2014, l’organisation Trucking HR Canada a mis en place le programme d’envergure nationale Top Fleet Employers, qui vise à souligner l’importance des solides pratiques et politiques en matière de ressources humaines implémentées dans le secteur du transport et de la logistique. The Erb Group is considered one of eight 'elite fleets' of the Top Fleet Employer's program, which is part of the first group of Canadian transportation companies that entered into the program when it first launched ten years ago. By working to achieve new altruistic goals and practices each year, The Erb Group has stood out for its astounding efforts in topics such as employee engagement, employee retention, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and other HR modernizations. Ce sont des initiatives comme le programme Top Fleet Employers qui tiennent les entreprises de transport responsables et leur permettent de trouver de nouveaux moyens de se dépasser année après année. Sans ce programme, il serait difficile de mesurer l’efficacité de telles initiatives qui visent à créer un milieu de travail où motivation et inclusivité sont au rendez-vous. Quand nous avons la possibilité d’aller plus loin, nous réalisons de grandes choses. Nous remercions Trucking HR Canada d’avoir organisé cette belle cérémonie de remise de prix et d’avoir mis en vedette notre chef des RH des 30 dernières années.
