OWNER OPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Erb Transport was proud to attend the 81st Annual Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) convention in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. This convention is a networking and educational event, discussing topics such as profitability, training, and industry rules and regulations. The convention aims to provide overarching support and insight for all attendees, and foster discussions and new ideas.

The convention is also heavily focused on rewarding companies and individuals who have gone above and beyond to benefit the transportation industry. These awards include the Highway Angels Award, Company Driver of the Year Award, Owner Operator of the Year Award, and more.

One of Erb’s very own Owner Operators from our Baden, Ontario terminal, Robert Roth, was named a finalist for the Owner Operator of the Year award. He placed second overall, and we could not be more proud! This award is presented to a driver who consistently prioritizes road safety, makes contributions to their community, and aims to enhance the image of the transportation industry.  It is no surprise that Robert was nominated for this award, as his commitment and passion for this industry is unwavering and unmatched. We sincerely thank Robert, along with all nominees, for their dedication to this industry.

It is so important to recognize the contributions of those who not only benefit their direct employers, but benefit the transportation industry as a whole. Those who embody the heart of this industry: hard work, dedication, passion and kinship. Safely and successfully driving a transport truck is no small feat, but is often a thankless job. Conventions such as this one help recognize these drivers, and thank them for their contributions.
