Recently, Erb Transport had the privilege of working alongside EngineWorks Films and International Trucks to create a promotional video showcasing our fleet. International Trucks is a leading producer of medium-duty, heavy-duty, and severe-service trucks. In 1959, Vernon Erb purchased a single International dump truck; unknowingly laying the foundation of Erb Transport and beginning a relationship with International Trucks that would stretch beyond 60 years. It was the simplicity and durability of the trucks that initially peaked his interest. In the early years of Erb Transport, truck repairs were costly and an inconvenience that Vernon could narrowly afford. International Trucks ensured that our freight moved from point A to point B with no interruption; strengthening our growing trust and loyalty to them as a producer. Throughout the last 60 years, they have remained as durable as we have remained loyal.

The relationship we have developed with International has not been one-sided. On many occasions, we have tested new products and have provided sought-after feedback and advice. Jim Pinder, our Corporate Fleet Director, is on the Industry Advisory Council and offers insights and advice about various aspects of the industry. Our organizations work towards one common goal, and with over 60 years in the transportation industry, we have both gained invaluable knowledge and experience.

International Trucks has allowed us to remain at the forefront of industry leading technology, as Erb was the first company in Canada to purchase the Lonestar truck. We have also had at least one International Truck in our fleet each year for 60 years. The longevity of our relationship with International Trucks is a genuine testament to their success and reliability.
