Today,\u00a0<\/span>women are playing an increasingly\u00a0important role\u00a0in trucking and\u00a0logistics<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>According to the\u00a0<\/span>Women\u00a0In\u00a0Trucking Association<\/span><\/a>, women now make up\u00a0over\u00a0<\/span>9.5%\u00a0of professional truck drivers in North America<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0a number that has grown over the past decade.\u00a0<\/span>Female representation in leadership roles\u00a0is\u00a0also rising,\u00a0with\u00a0women holding<\/span>\u00a028%<\/span><\/b>\u00a0of C-suite transportation executive\u00a0positions\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>34.5%<\/span><\/b>\u00a0of supervisory leadership,\u00a0according to the\u00a0<\/span>latest WIT Index.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This highlights the importance of attracting and supporting new talent across the industry.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
