Le 15 avril 2024,\u00a0Wilmot, ON<\/strong>\u00a0Lundi matin, le groupe Erb, leader dans le domaine du transport et de la logistique de la cha\u00eene du froid, a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 un moment historique en recevant le dernier camion International LoneStar jamais fabriqu\u00e9. Des repr\u00e9sentants d'International Trucks, d'Altruck, de Twin City Graphics et des membres de l'\u00e9quipe du groupe Erb ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, qui s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au terminal de Baden du groupe Erb, afin de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer un moment important pour le groupe Erb et pour le fabricant de camions, International.<\/p>\n

Wendell Erb, President and CEO of The Erb Group, graciously accepted the keys to the final LoneStar truck, symbolizing the culmination of a longstanding partnership between The Erb Group and International. Alongside the keys, a custom plaque was presented to honour “Another Cool Move”<\/em> for The Erb Group, reflecting on the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the transportation industry.<\/p>\n

In a symbolic gesture, Wendell Erb handed over the keys for the latest LoneStar to Carl Jantzi, a Cross-Border Driver who has been recognized at The Erb Group as 2023’s Driver of the Year and has previously earned Owner Operator of the Year multiple times.<\/p>\n

The presentation highlighted The Erb Group’s history with the LoneStar model, dating back to 2008 when the company was entrusted with the first-ever International LoneStar prototype for testing before it officially hit the market in 2009. This partnership has been grounded in shared values of safety and reliability, fostering a strong relationship between The Erb Group and International trucks over the years. From testing prototypes to receiving one of the last LoneStar Trucks, it marks a full circle moment for The Erb Group.<\/p>\n

As the transportation industry progresses towards increased sustainability efforts, discontinuing the LoneStar model marks the end of an era for the classic<\/p>\n

model. However, Erb remains committed to maintaining a state-of-the-art fleet, collaborating with suppliers to ensure a competitive edge for drivers and clients alike.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the presentation, The Erb Group’s Senior Corporate Fleet Director, Jim Pinder, coordinated a lineup of all Erb\u2019s International LoneStar models for employees and attendees to observe at the Baden Terminal, including the first prototype which was brought out from the company\u2019s antique museum.<\/p>\n
