Toronto, ON, 12 octobre 2023<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 \u00c0 l\u2019occasion de la 10e \u00e9dition annuelle du Top Fleet Employers Gala tenu \u00e0 Toronto, le Groupe Erb, un chef de file reconnu dans le secteur du transport, s\u2019est vu octroyer le titre de Top Fleet Employer par l\u2019organisation Trucking HR Canada pour la 10e ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive. En plus de cette belle r\u00e9alisation, cette m\u00eame organisation a octroy\u00e9 le titre de HR Leader of the Year de 2023 \u00e0 l\u2019ancien vice-pr\u00e9sident du personnel et de la culture du Groupe Erb, Dave Dietrich.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le prix HR Leader of the Year reconna\u00eet et c\u00e9l\u00e8bre un professionnel des ressources humaines qui personnifie l\u2019engagement envers des pratiques solides et innovantes dans ce domaine. Chaque ann\u00e9e, cette organisation pr\u00e9sente ce prix \u00e0 une personne qui est devenue un mod\u00e8le pour d\u2019autres professionnels des RH dans le secteur du camionnage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pendant 30 ans, Dave a occup\u00e9 le poste de chef des ressources humaines au Groupe Erb puis il a pris sa retraite en juin 2023. M\u00eame apr\u00e8s sa retraite, l\u2019h\u00e9ritage qu\u2019il a laiss\u00e9 aux employ\u00e9s des ressources humaines se poursuit dans leurs activit\u00e9s quotidiennes et dans les projets qu\u2019ils m\u00e8nent \u00e0 bien chaque jour en pla\u00e7ant les personnes au c\u0153ur de tout. M\u00eame s\u2019il ignorait que c\u2019\u00e9tait lui qui remporterait le prix HR Leader of the Year, Dave est mont\u00e9 sur le podium et, sans r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir, il a exprim\u00e9 sa profonde gratitude envers son \u00e9quipe qui lui a permis d\u2019avoir un impact positif tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re. \u00ab Un chef n\u2019existe pas sans les membres de son \u00e9quipe \u00bb a-t-il dit lors de son discours d\u2019acceptation. En plus, il a remerci\u00e9 le chef de la direction, Wendell Erb, et les membres de sa famille qui l\u2019ont aid\u00e9 \u00e0 transformer le D\u00e9partement des ressources humaines \u00e0 ses d\u00e9buts.<\/span><\/p>\n

En 2014, l\u2019organisation Trucking HR Canada a mis en place le programme d\u2019envergure nationale Top Fleet Employers, qui vise \u00e0 souligner l\u2019importance des solides pratiques et politiques en mati\u00e8re de ressources humaines impl\u00e9ment\u00e9es dans le secteur du transport et de la logistique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans le cadre du programme Top Fleet Employers, le Groupe Erb est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019une des huit \u00ab flottes d\u2019\u00e9lite \u00bb parce qu\u2019il figure parmi les premi\u00e8res entreprises de transport canadiennes \u00e0 adh\u00e9rer au programme d\u00e8s son lancement il y a dix ans. Puisqu\u2019il travaille \u00e0 atteindre ses objectifs gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des pratiques altruistes, le Groupe Erb se d\u00e9marque dans plusieurs domaines tels que l\u2019engagement des employ\u00e9s, la r\u00e9tention des employ\u00e9s, la culture au travail, la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, la formation, le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et d\u2019autres modernisations de la gestion des ressources humaines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ce sont des initiatives comme le programme Top Fleet Employers qui tiennent les entreprises de transport responsables et leur permettent de trouver de nouveaux moyens de se d\u00e9passer ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e. Sans ce programme, il serait difficile de mesurer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de telles initiatives qui visent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un milieu de travail o\u00f9 motivation et inclusivit\u00e9 sont au rendez-vous.
