EN CELEBRATING HR EXCELLENCE
Last week, Erb had the distinct pleasure of joining Trucking HR Canada along with other Top Fleets, program partners, and industry representatives across the country for their first ever virtual awards show recognizing their 2020 Top Fleet Employers. The virtual gala recognized 69 fleets that made it in the program this year, some of which also received Achievement of Excellence Awards. Top Fleet Employers is not a competition – it’s recognition for those who meet and exceed HR standards of excellence. Each year trucking and logistics companies go through an elaborate application process, but only the best are recognized as Top Fleet Employers. The online show consisted of a powerful video showcasing Canadian leaders recognizing the essential service the trucking and logistics industry provides each and every day. We were then introduced to our MC, John G Smith, Newcom Media Vice President of Editorial and Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada who announced award recipients through the presentation along with having sponsors speak about their support for the Top Fleet Employers program and their admiration for the industry. This year Erb was proud to be recognized as a Top Fleet Employer for the large fleet category for the seventh year in a row, earning us Top Fleet Employers of Distinction status. “We are proud to be named one of Trucking HR’s Top Fleet Employers for a seventh consecutive year and to be recognized as a leader in promoting a positive image of the trucking and logistics industry.” says Dave Dietrich, Erb’s Vice-President of People and Culture. “I want to acknowledge the significant role our employees play in helping us win this prestigious award.” Congratulations to Trucking HR Canada for delivering this seamlessly executed online event. Even during this time of social distancing, Erb was pleased to take part in this fun evening of appreciation and recognition for the trucking and logistics industry.
