Annual Erb Transport Employee Barbecues!

Summer is finally here and that means it’s time for our annual Erb barbecues! Every summer, all Erb terminals host an employee appreciation barbecue for their staff. Organizing these barbecues at each terminal doesn’t always prove to be an easy task, but being able to give back to our employees, even in small ways, has always been a priority of the Erb Group. We understand and recognize that each employee’s position plays an important role in the success of the company, and since we strive to operate as one group, it is important that all of our employees feel recognized and appreciated. These barbecues are absolutely worthwhile and are anticipated every year.

Erb Transport prides itself on being a company with a very unique corporate culture; we are a large company with a small company feel. Although we employ over 1,500 people throughout Canada, we ensure that each one feels recognized. This is why we also have other recognition programs such as Erb Excellence day, Years of Service Awards, SupErb Awards, and more. We have always been, and will continue to be, exceptionally committed to our employees and to our family and community oriented values. These barbecues are a great way to incorporate fun and excitement into our company, and ensure that our employees have opportunities to make memories and friendships during their time here.

Today, on August 10th, 2017, Toronto hosted their employee barbecue! The day went smoothly and the event was enjoyed by all attendees. Erb Transport is proud to employ some of the hardest working and most committed employees in the industry! Our employees are more than welcome to bring their families to these barbecues, as many of them did (pictured below). Having the families of our employees attend our barbecues makes them much more personal, which is an aspect we value. Thank you to everyone who came out!
